What are the benefits of a Team?

Teams are often the answer when extremely complex problems need to be solved requiring the expertise of more than one person. Teams provide the forum for bringing people together and obtaining fresh perspectives. Some organizations have the opportunity to draw from the expertise of individuals located all over the world. As organizations expect the individuals within them to do more with less it is hard to argue against the merits of highly functioning and effective teams. When team members are all working towards a common goal, extraordinary things can be accomplished and significant boosts in productivity can occur. Effective teams are often the reason businesses remain competitive in today's dynamic marketplace.

Highly functioning and effective teams don't just "happen". Teams members must be carefully selected, ground rules set and a framework established within which the team functions.

When TCCG can help?

Team coaching will often be engaged when:

  • A Group or “Team” is being formed: The careful selection of individuals who will bring full-value to the team, setting ground rules and the frame work under which the team will function can be challenging. The proper selection of team members is critical to the ultimate success of the team and the ultimate goal.
  • Group or Team wanting to Optimize their Team or “Fast Track”: Getting to where they need to go.. faster in a more efficient, effective and smoother manner.
  • Breakdown / Conflict: Where there is an existing team which feels disjointed / hampered or not operating “as a Team”.
    • Communication breakdown
    • Personal conflict or issues
    • Lack of consensus decision-making
    • Lack of collaboration
    • Not accomplishing goals
  • Mergers / Acquisitions / Down-sizing: Blending individual groups / existing teams are often times complicated. Provisions or considerations may be necessary to accommodate:
